Went cover to cover reading your wonderful book during by stay at Orlando. Your book speaks so much to my life and now the life of my granddaughter Paige. Paige is a fine athlete whose passion for Basketball exceeds mine (I am a Falcon and Badger Fan). Paige has played year round since 8th grade for her school teams and Rising Force in Summer. Faith in the Freshman now available through Barnes and Noble

I am very excited to report that Barnes and Noble has picked up Faith in the Freshman! That means the book can be ordered on-line at www.barnesandnoble.com. Copies will also be available in Barnes and Noble stores (or able to be ordered if the store doesn’t have any in stock). Thanks to all of you who have read this “Story of Hopes and Hoops.” Special thanks to the many who have taken time to write or call me with reactions and feedback!

We are getting close to ordering our third printing and my speaking calendar is getting much busier, too. Remember, every dollar raised goes to support Concordia’s ministry and the Juvenile Diabetes research Foundation!

59th Annual CIT

What a weekend at CUW! The 59th annual CIT was played in front of a huge, enthusiastic crowd. Special kudos to the CUW Falcon men following their tournament championship. A narrow 69-68 victory on Friday over Chicago was followed by an impressive 91-73 victory over Seward. Congratulations, also, to the Seward women who defeated our Falcons in the women’s championship game.
